A Week at Treasure Camp
- Creative projects and games all week long
- Water Day Wednesday (swim suit, towel, flops or water shoes)
- Field trips (kids wear a Treasure T-shirt and pack a brown-bag lunch)
- Community walks
- Daily snacks provided, plus special-occasion pizza party lunches
- Designated times for electronics
What to Pack
- Spray sunscreen (required, and ongoing)
- Lunch from home, cold or hot, packed daily
- A daily water bottle, marked with your child’s name
- A change of clothes to keep at camp for creative projects
- Swim gear on Wednesdays
- A change of sneakers if your child wears sandals or flops
Enrollment at a Glance
- $175 per week, due by Monday for the current week
- 10-week commitment, with one scheduled vacation week (Monday–Friday) allowed per child
- $25 non-refundable registration / T-shirt fee
- No sibling discount
- Payment by cash, check payable to Treasure Castle, or credit card (3% processing fee)
Camp Policies & FAQ
How does sign-in and pick-up work?
Children must be signed in and out daily. Photo ID is required for adults picking up children who are not listed on the Emergency Contact form, and parent verbal approval is also required.
What paperwork is required?
A new Emergency Contact Form must be filled out for each child and kept current, along with the enrollment agreement and registration forms in the camp packet. Medication requires a Medication Release Form and a doctor-labeled container.
Is there a scheduled vacation or sibling discount?
Each child may take one scheduled vacation week. It must be scheduled with us in advance. We are unable to offer a sibling discount at this time. Payment for each week is due regardless of absences or holidays.
What about children with special needs?
If your child has a special need or requires a TSS or Wrap Around, please make an appointment to meet with the directors during operating hours before camp starts. A child’s TSS or Wrap Around must be present 100% of the time while the child is at camp.
How do I stay informed?
Camp families are added to our private Facebook camp group, our main source of parent communication. Provide your Facebook name on the registration form. You may also call the Castle at (570) 326-5000.
What lunch and snacks are provided?
Kids pack lunch daily. We provide daily snacks, and parent-donated snacks are always welcome. Special-occasion pizza party lunches are announced in advance.
